The New Paper reported that less than one percent of the 1.8 million Singapore women, aged 10 to 25 years old have taken the vaccination against cervical cancer.
SGH launched a study last August, recruting1,800 women aged in their teens to middle age, to study which type of the Human Papillomavirus (HPV) is more common and whether certain sub-types are associated with specific age groups.
