The Primary Care Partnership Scheme (PCPS) aims to provide needy elderly and disabled Singaporeans with better access to primary healthcare by bringing affordable services closer to such residents.
From 1 January 2009, PCPS has been extended to cover treatment of three chronic conditions: diabetes, hypertension and lipid disorders, in addition to acute medical conditions and basic dental services. We hope that this will help GPs provide holistic care for their PCPS-eligible patients, in line with the vision of “One Family Physician for every Singaporean”.
